| We felt comfortable with Reverend Sharon immediately upon meeting her. She was caring, warm and wanted to get to know us and what we were about. She gave us options and guidance for the ceremony but was also was very accepting of our particular requests. She helped us organize the ceremony to make it flow smoothly and helped to create the perfect tone for it - serious and spiritual yet warm and light-hearted at the right times. She showed up on time for our rehearsal and ceremony, interacted well with the on-site coordinators, and was professional throughout. She presided over the ceremony without a hitch and we have heard nothing but compliments from our wedding guests. We were really grateful that we found Reverend Sharon for our wedding. | We chose Sharon to perform our ceremony because of her warmth and outgoing personality. We wanted Sharon because we felt very comfortable with her. She communicated with us regularly during the months leading up to the ceremony, and she was very flexible with helping us choose the wording of the exchange of vows. Reverend Tinkham also gave us helpful suggestions as to what points in the ceremony would be best for readings and special music. On the day of the ceremony Sharon was very organized and lent emotional support to everyone involved in the ceremony. She also did an excellent job of organizing the wedding rehearsal. | My husband and I write this letter of recommendation for Rev. Sharon Tinkham with great pleasure and heart-felt thanks. As my husband and I do not live in the United States on a full-time basis and for other personal reasons we decided not to have a formal Catholic Wedding Ceremony. Nevertheless, it was still extremely important for us to have faith as part of our ceremony. Therefore, the decision was made to seek out ordained ministers in the area. After contacting Rev. Tinkham, my husband and I were pleased with her immediate response. Through email and telephone conversations we were impressed with her faith, personality, interest and promptness. Her kind spirit and helpful nature made our nerves pass immediately. At that point, we felt we were comfortable to start making the final decisions about our wedding ceremony and vows. With Rev. Tinkham’s experience and organizational skills she was able to easily guide us through creating our own personal wedding ceremony. My husband and I had such fun sitting with Rev. Tinkham tailoring our wedding ceremony to fit our own personal faith and personalities. She was filled with knowledge and ideas but accepted our own with great enthusiasm. Rev. Tinkham was always prompt and responsible with emails, phone calls and meeting times. With this realization, I did not have any concerns. After reflecting on the ceremony with family and friends, everyone commented on how memorable it was because it suited our personalities so well. They also mentioned how comfortable they felt. Rev. the middle of our ceremony, all the men in the
wedding party changed from black tie to
camoflauge bow ties as we are all hunters.
Sharon had had a camo clergy stole made for
the occasion and she changed into her camo
stole along with us….it was a real hoot.
The only thing I would have liked to change was
that there would be less black flies……it was an
outdoor wedding.
I would recommend Sharon in a second
because she is so flexible and wants your day
to be as special as possible.

| Living in Kansas City, Missouri and getting married in New Hampshire the first challenge we had was finding an officiant. We found Reverend Tinkham by way of the internet. We first contacted her by email and followed-up with a face-to-face meeting. During our first meeting we got to know one another, discussed our thoughts on our ceremony and marriage. After this first meeting we felt very comfortable with Reverend Tinkham. We stayed in contact via email and worked on our ceremony. We had one more face-to-face meeting a few months before our wedding. At this final meeting we went through the ceremony and made final adjustments where needed. Reverend Tinkham drove several hours to join us for the rehearsal and stayed overnight to perform the ceremony the next day. She made us feel very comfortable at the rehearsal so we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. Throughout the whole process, Reverend Tinkham was very flexible with her schedule and made time to meet with us when we were able to come to New Hampshire. She was always extremely prompt in replying to email. She was organized, helpful, and made us feel at ease from the time we met her to the conclusion of the ceremony. We feel very fortunate that we found Reverend Tinkham and that she played such an instrumental role in the start of our life together.
